3 Days in Madrid

August 02, 2017

the hat hostel

I had been to Madrid before, although Madrid in January and Madrid in July are quite different. I did enjoy it a lot more the second time, but I'm pretty sure the company helped with that too. My boyfriend and I wanted to go away together for a few days after our exams and even though Madrid wasn't our first option, it was lovely seeing it with him. We bought our tickets, booked our room at The Hat Madrid, the same hostel where I had stayed at 2 years before, and after 12 hours riding buses and trains, we were there. We walked everywhere and so much that I couldn't stand on my feet even on our first night, the weather was immensely hot even though it was supposed to rain, we ate overpriced tapas, we fell in love with Chueca and kept coming back everyday and we managed to see Madrid during pride week and it was beautiful.
I thought I'd upload some pictures from our trip, and I'd like to apologize in advance for my phone's camera quality, I must invest in an actual camera instead of only buying analog cameras (which by the way I also took on this trip, pictures will soon be uploaded on my instagram).
